Its way past my bedtime so hopefully this entry will make sense. Been so busy with work lately, can’t believe I even have time for this entry. It was great getting to chill w/ my friends this weekend, I really missed hanging out w/ everyone. Party hopping w/ Lily, TGI Fridays for Johnny’s bday, seeing LIZ jump up and down in joy (MEGA CONGRATZ ON GETTING INTO MED SCHOOL!) Hopefully should be spending more time w/ everyone so they won’t miss me as much, but it still felt good knowing that they’ve missed me. They truly care .

Sat night we went to eat at Blue Fin. First time I’ve ever filled myself up on eating sushi, my god was I full. The food was really good and lucky for us we got the hottest waitress in the restaurant, good times.

I still don’t forgive myself for forgetting my camera during Johnny’s “Big Apple” birthday bash. Highlights include the green tally marks on Johnny’s forhead and beating the crap out of him at the apt…

USHICON!!! WOOO!! Austin’s very own annual anime convention held at Marriot hotel downtown. Still feel sorry for the people staying there who walked out of the rooms to find full grown adults in ridiculous costumes…actually some of them were pretty cool.

WHo are these KOOL guyz w/ AWESOME JACKETS?!?! The Cáceres brothers thats who! Spent this whole weekend w/ Jordan. Ushicon, Einsteins, sushi, shopping at the mall and buying him his new Zelda jacket and his koo Inuyasha t-shirt, we had a great time. Love that guy SOO much. Really missed spending time w/ him…

So I got my first pay check from IBM and I just splurged this weekend. Went out to eat, bought 2 pairs of shoes, matching game jackets for me a Jordan. I truly spoiled myself and bought all the koo stuff that my friends got to buy during the semester when I didn’t have any money. It felt good. Bought me these hella tyte Umbros. WHo cares if Derick has these shoes…does he have these koo black laces? I THINK NOT…

So whats been goin on…?

Jan 14th – Went to Liz’s and cooked some chicken alfredo w/ the girls. Came out pretty damn good and eating w/ pretty girls is always nice.

Jan 15th – Bi came back into town and chilled w/ her and watched some anime and ate some wings, great stuff! How does Ivan meet all these hot girlies? IONO!

Jan 17 – Ma boy Ryan won stargate regionals tournament for Guilty Gear XX, woOT! Too bad I wasn’t there to whoop his ass, oh well. Final pictures of his sticks as well.

Jan 18 – Hiens bday party! WOot! Hadn’t seen the Trinh’s in a while now, Hien’s getting older, Hang’s getting thinner, Hanh’s grabbing/poking more ass than ever before!

This week – started work w/ IBM. Really liking my job so far. I’m actually a part of the team and doing real engineering work and learning about super geeky technical stuff, its awesome! I was scared I’d be stuck making copies or getting coffee, or like my friends said, cutting the grass outside.

So yeah, lot of stuff been going on lately. Hope everybody had a great first day of class, and good luck to everyone with this semester.

Been a little busy lately and what not. Spent most of last week building custom joysticks at Ryan’s, it was a bitch but we finallly got them all done. I’ll get a final results picture later on today.

After doing joysticks then went to SA to spend some time w/ this little lady.

This whole time I was in SA I basically felt like I lived there. Hung out w/ Johnny, Jean, Ben, and Luke. It was great. Even though TONS of drama ended up happening, overall it was a good experience.

I was supposed to leave Sunday, but then my gay lover “persuaded” me to stay. Spent the rest of my time in SA chillin w/ Ben at his pimp new place w/ the bad ass remote (controls his fan and his lights WHOA!).

IBM Status: I’m hired. I was supposed to start the 12th, but they couldn’t finish my paperwork in time, so now I start the 19th, but then I got this formal letter from IBM saying I start the 26th! WTF?! So called em up, hopefully be in by the 19th b/c I’m currently unemployed w/ tons of bills to pay that I’m behind on. I won’t get a paycheck from IBM until probably 3 weeks after I start working for them….I NEED MONEY!

All my closest friends are moving away from me, what is this? To my baby, Benjamin “T-Rex” Tran, you will be missed.
